S. Rajamouli who co-wrote the film with K. V. Vijayendra Prasad. It was produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under the banner Arka Media Works. Simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil languages, the film features an ensemble cast including Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah, Ramya Krishna, Sathyaraj, Nassar, and Subbaraju. The second cinematic part in the Baahubali franchise, it is the follow-up to Baahubali: The Beginning, serving as both a sequel and a prequel.[6] The film is set in medieval India and follows the sibling rivalry between Amarendra Baahubali and Bhallaladeva; the latter conspires against the former and has him killed by Kattappa. Years later, Amarendra's son returns to avenge his death. Made on an estimated budget of ₹2.5 billion, the production was launched on 17 December 2015 at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. The cinematography was done by K. K. Senthil Kumar, and was edited by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. The production design was done by Sabu Cyril, while the action sequences were choreographed by Peter Hein. The visual effects were designed by R. C. Kamalakannan, with assistance from Adel Adili and Pete Draper. The soundtrack and the background music were composed by M. M. Keeravani. The Conclusion was released on 28 April 2017 and later dubbed into Hindi, Malayalam, Japanese, Russian and Chinese. Released in conventional 2D and IMAX formats, The Conclusion was the first Telugu film to also release in 4K High Definition format. Cast Prabhas as Amarendra Baahubali (father), the adoptive heir to the throne of Mahishmati (Telugu)/ Magizhmathi (Tamil) and a respected prince by the people for his compassion and nobility; and Mahendra Baahubali "Sivudu" (Telugu) / "Sivu" (Tamil) (son), Amarendra's son to Devasena who was born during his father's death and grows up to meet the rebel alliance that is combating Bhallaladeva. Rana Daggubati as Bhallaladeva (Telugu) / Palvaalthevan (Tamil), Amarendra's biological cousin and adoptive older brother who was extremely jealous of his popularity, and has plotted to erase his right to the throne since childhood. Unlike Baahubali he cares little for his people and is shown to enslave his subjects, and he frames his own assassination to get Kattappa to kill Baahubali. Anushka Shetty as Devasena (Telugu) / Devasenai (Tamil), the younger sister of the king of Kuntala, who marries Baahubali. Her inclusion in the royal family and calling out Sivagami's and Palvaalthevan's/ Bhallaladeva's law leads to civil conflict in the kingdom and their exile Tamannaah as Avanthika, a young and powerful rebel warrior whom Mahendra falls in love with. She helps him take the kingdom back and they get married. Ramya Krishna as Sivagami, Bhallaladeva's / Palvaalthevan's mother and Bijaladeva's / Pingalathevan's wife, and a former subject of the kingdom who rises to become queen. She has one of the highest authorities in the kingdom and is a skilled combatant. She is nearly murdered by her own son as she tries to smuggle Mahendra out of the kingdom. Sathyaraj as Kattappa, a sibling figure to Sivagami and is called an uncle to Bhallaladeva and Amarendra. He's a member of a lineage of incredibly skilled warriors who serve the royal family like servants, but he also authorizes the kingdom's military. Nassar as Bijjaladeva (Telugu) / Pingalathevan (Tamil), the deranged father of Bhallaladeva / Palvaalthevan and husband of Sivagami, he has a broken hand from battle and just like his son he believes in exploiting his subjects and being oppressive. Because of this he was never formally granted control of the kingdom. His brother Vikramadeva is the biological father of Amarendra Baahubali. Subbaraju as Kumara Varma, a relative of Devasena who is competitive against her and is a cowardly warrior, but is motivated by Amarendra to stand up to the Pindari invasion on Kuntala. He is killed by Bijaladeva / Pingalathevan in an elaborate trap to frame Baahubali for treason. Others Rakesh Varre as Sethupathi, a friend of Bhallaladeva who takes the role of army commander after Baahubali is resigned, he is beheaded by Baahubali when he finds out that Sethupati touched his wife vulgarly. Meka Ramakrishna as Jaya Varma, Devasena's brother and the former king of Kuntala. He's killed by Bhallaladeva during the final battle. Charandeep Surneni as Inkoshi's brother,[10] who takes role of the chief of the Kalakeyas. He is killed by Baahubali. Rohini as Sanga,[11] Mahendra's adoptive mother. Prudhvi Raj as the Prime Minister of Kunthala kingdom Madhusudhan Rao as the messenger from Mahishmathi Kingdom Shatru as the leader of the Pindari tribe, which is a tribe of plunderers and raiders. They lay siege to Kuntala and Amarendra kills the leader and drowns the rest of the army. Ajay Ghosh as a dacoit

The curtains lift and Bittoo is ready to sing a qawali with his family and neighbors. The special qawali has the audience in splits with laughter. Kapil then announces the completion of 100 episodes. As he is speaking, Kapil's father-in-law and brother-in-law walk to celebrate with the family. Kapil asks them to leave when his wife, Manju walks on to the stage. Inspector Shamsher Singh walks on to the stage and speaks about the hardships that police have to face in their line of duty. As he speaking, Kareena Kapoor Khan walks in and joins Shamsher Singh on the stage. Kareena says that she has come to meet Singham. The story of the film revolves around a palace known as ‘Gandharva Mahal’ which belongs to Rayudu, the present head of a royal family that has lost its former splendor. Rayudu lives with his wife and two daughters Visalakshi and Jagadha in a small house beside the Mahal. Rayudu rents out the palace to make ends meet. He is shown as a soft and generous man. Some of the tenants take this generosity for granted and harass Rayudu, without paying the rent. Into this scenario comes Manoj, as someone seeking a place to rent. He slowly gets rid of the problematic elements in the palace and restores control to Rayudu. Manoj falls in love with Jagadha. The movie story deals with Radhakrishnan alias Rocky is a 10th grade dropout youngster who is looked down upon by his father, because of his sharp contrast to the rest of the family, who are well qualified in education. Rocky spends most of his time in a mechanic shop with his colleagues. Rocky's friends advise him to love and marry a well educated girl so that his name will be added with her name after marriage i.e., indirectly he gets a degree after his name. So, earnestly he looks around by hovering around women's colleges to find a perfect girl for his mission. He finally succeeds in his attempt and makes Gayathri, a well-educated rich girl fall for him. He starts to honestly love her and takes her for shopping to a mall where she is confronted by a group of rogues who work for Rami Reddy who is a rival of Samarasimha Reddy. Her father is Samarasimha Reddy a notorious don in Andhra who protects his daughter Gayathri by destroying the gang and takes back Gayathri to Andhra Pradesh. The protagonist goes to Assault Arumugam, a thug-for-hire, to help him marry his love interest. Dhanush saves Gayathri from Rami Reddy and follows her to her home, where he realizes that another Thirunelveli rowdy Kasi Anandan, whose brother he accidentally kills in a flashback, has put price on his head. Kasi declares that if Rocky wins him in a hand-to-hand combat he will never be disturbed by him. Rocky accepts his deal and smashes Kasi down.

Shiva (Karthi) is a young, carefree, unemployed man staying in Bangalore. He has a loyal group of friends including his best friend, a young woman named Priya (Sonia Deepti) with whom he shares his feelings. His friends are determined to get him a job. One day he sees a young, beautiful woman named Charulatha (Tamannaah), who is also looking for a job. Shiva is immediately attracted to her. He subsequently spots Charulatha on various occasions and follows her, but loses sight of her each time. He even misses a job interview Priya has arranged for him.

Later, as Shiva waits at the railway station to pick up a friend and owner of the Mitsubishi Lancer Shiva and his friends use, he is confronted by a tense Charulatha, accompanied by her uncle. They assume that Shiva is a cab driver and ask him to take them to Chennai. An excited Shiva accepts the offer and takes them. While stopping to refuel the car, Charulatha suddenly requests Shiva to drive on, leaving her uncle behind; Shiva does as she wishes and takes off. She first asks Shiva to drop her at the airport but she misses the flight and later at a railway station, she is unable to go by train,so she asks Shiva if he will take her to Mumbai by car.

Shiva instantly agrees and drives her to Mumbai. Shiva tries to get into a conversation with Charulatha. She initially refuses to talk, but eventually gives in and tells him about her background. It comes to light that Charulatha's mother, who had always supported her daughter, died after a violent altercation with her father; since then her father has tried to force Charulatha to marry an unknown man of his choice. Not willing to bow to her father's wishes, she had escaped from home, but was later found by her father's business partner, Jayaraman, her supposed uncle. He was about to take her to register the marriage arranged by her father when Charulatha tried to escape, leaving him behind at the filling station. Now she wants to head to Mumbai to stay at her grandmother's home.

However, she is being followed by a gang, led by a furious Telugu-speaking lady. Shiva manages to lose the pursuers and decides to change the route in order to avoid the gang, but encounters a second gang. He realizes that this gang is not following Charulatha, but himself, as they are the henchmen of a Mumbai-based gangster Baali (Milind Soman). He recalls an incident that happened some years ago in Mumbai, when he stayed there at his friend Poochi's (Jagan) house. He had beaten one of Baali's men, who had attacked him, and later Baali himself, not knowing about him and his reputation in the city, and returned to Bangalore. Both gangs are following the couple to achieve their own ends. After reaching Mumbai and experiencing a series of events, they end up at Poochi's house. Poochi finds out where the grandmother lives and Shiva brings Charulatha there. Shiva, unable to bear the thought that the journey is complete, leaves silently only to find Charulatha on the road. After hesitating, she reveals that her relatives had spoken ill about her parents, which prompted her leave, not wanting to push the matter further. While in a state of doubt, they are attacked by Baali's gang, who have teamed up with Jayaraman.

Shiva saves Charulatha from the clutches of the goons by single-handedly overpowering them. While on their way back to Bangalore, his friends arrive. Priya, whom Shiva has called often, tells Charulatha of his feelings for her. Charulatha reciprocates Shiva's love, as she too has fallen for him during the journey, thus both unite.

But he takes it lightly and moves to Chennai with the girl's brother (Shyam Ganesh) to look for a job. One night, he saves Sandya from some goons. In gratitude, she kisses him. Shiva starts to fall in love with Sandya. After several occasions where they bumped into each other, Shiva harbours hope that she too reciprocates his affections.

However at Sandya's birthday party, she announces her engagement to computer engineer, Pratap (Yugendran). Shiva is devastated at the news and leaves the room quietly. Sandya finds him standing alone at the swimming pool. She asks him about his impression of Pratap and is shocked when Shiva reveals to her that he loves her. Sandya declares that she only feels friendship towards him and tells him to stop loving her.

After receiving a telephone call, Shiva goes to the police station and finds Aruna. She had eloped to be with her lover. However, he later abandoned her and left her penniless. With no one to turn to, Aruna attempted suicide. Shiva takes her back home to take care of her. Aruna's brother was still angry and calls up their parents. Shiva speaks up for Aruna and gets the family to forgive her. Before returning to the village, Aruna meets Pratap and discovers that Sandya's fiance is actually the lover who abandoned her.

On the eve of Sandya's wedding, she finally understands that she loves Shiva and tells her father (Manivannan) that she does not want to marry Pratap. Her father refuses to cancel the wedding and gives Shiva a cheque for 10 million to get the latter to leave Sandya. Sandya runs away on her wedding day to look for Shiva and confesses to him that she loves him too. She wants to elope with Shiva but he brings her back to the wedding venue.

Before the ceremony starts, he calls Pratap into a room and closes the door. When the door reopens, Shiva and Pratap had changed clothes. Shiva is now in the groom's attire while Pratap is in ordinary clothes. Shiva marries Sandya in the end. On their wedding night, Shiva reveals to Sandya what happened between Pratap and him in the room.
